Senior Automation Developer

Roles and Responsibilities

• RPA Development and Automation:
• Design, develop, and deploy robust RPA solutions using UiPath and other automation tools.
• Identify and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Integrate RPA solutions with various systems and applications using APIs and web services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in RPA processes.
• Train and mentor team members on RPA technologies and best practices.
• Custom Application Development:
• Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using modern web development technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, etc.).
• Develop APIs and microservices to integrate applications with other systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure the quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing and optimization.
• Problem-Solving and Solution Design:
• Analyze complex business problems and identify opportunities for automation.
• Design efficient and scalable automation solutions.
• Create clear and concise technical documentation.
• Understand and interpret Project Definition Documents (PDDs) and other project-related documents.
• Develop detailed solution designs, including process flows, data mappings, and system integrations.
• Create presentations and project charters to communicate solutions and project plans effectively.
• AI and Machine Learning Integration (Added Advantage):
• Understand the fundamental concepts of AI and ML, including machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and natural language processing.
• Identify potential use cases for AI and ML within automation processes.
• Collaborate with AI and ML experts to integrate AI-powered solutions into automation workflows.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and ML technologies.
• Project Management and Delivery (Added Advantage):
• Manage and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and risks.

Technical Requirements

• RPA:
• Strong proficiency in UiPath or other RPA tools.
• Experience in designing and developing complex automation workflows.
• Knowledge of .NET, C#, or VBA programming languages.
• Understanding of APIs, web services, and data integration techniques.
• Custom Application Development:
• Expertise in front-end and back-end development technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Node.js, Python, etc.).
• Proficiency in database design and SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of API development and microservices architecture.
• AI and Machine Learning (Added Advantage):
• Solid understanding of AI and ML concepts.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new AI and ML technologies.
• Knowledge of AI and ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) is a plus.

Additional Considerations

• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms like OutSystems or Power Apps can be a valuable asset.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines) is beneficial.
• A strong understanding of security best practices is essential.
• Experience with cloud-native development and serverless architectures is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (IT, Computer Science, or any engineering stream).
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience.
