Role Description The Senior Audit Manager – Stat will lead and oversee statutory audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate laws. This full-time role is based in Bengaluru in a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with flexibility for work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing audit strategies, reviewing financial statements, coordinating audit teams, and identifying control gaps and process improvements. The role involves managing client communications, providing technical guidance on complex audit and accounting issues, and preparing detailed audit reports and documentation. The Senior Audit Manager – Stat will also mentor junior team members, support business development initiatives, and contribute to strengthening audit methodologies and quality standards across the firm.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant standards and regulations.
- Expertise in Financial Audits and Financial Statements, including planning, execution, review, and reporting.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to assess financial data, identify risks, and recommend practical improvements.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent, with significant post-qualification experience in statutory audit.
- Experience managing audit teams, client relationships, and multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Indian regulatory frameworks (Companies Act, Income Tax, GST) and exposure to cross-border or multi-jurisdictional audits is an advantage.
- Proficiency with audit tools and financial software, and strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, demonstrating ownership, integrity, and attention to detail.
