Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Security Strategy & Leadership
- Provide strategic direction for enterprise security and educate teams on emerging threats.
- Act as a technical bridge between solution architects, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Make informed decisions in complex or incomplete situations and socialize rationale with global stakeholders.
Architecture & Technology Oversight
- Develop and maintain architectural documents, roadmaps, standards, and reference implementations.
- Perform architecture design for new products, enhancements, and security solutions.
- Evaluate and implement third-party security tools, applications, and development libraries.
- Ensure compliance with SOC2, change management, and other enterprise standards.
Security Domain Expertise
- Lead initiatives in endpoint, network, firewall, application, and cloud security.
- Provide guidance on secure infrastructure, identity management, and B2B controls.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of threat vectors, best practices, and security technologies.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Analyze risks and benefits of IT investments, supporting regional IT governance.
- Establish and enforce technical standards across security technologies.
- Anticipate regulatory issues and recommend process or technology improvements.
Collaboration & Change Management
- Influence and lead peers and senior leadership through security initiatives and architectural changes.
- Communicate complex security concepts in clear, actionable language to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
