Job Title: Senior Assure Developer (Java)
Location: Offshore (India)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Assure Developer with strong Java development skills to support and enhance life insurance administration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Assure platforms, life insurance systems, and modern Java technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support applications within the Assure life insurance platform.
- Customize and enhance Assure modules based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain Java-based integrations and services.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and client stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Support system enhancements, upgrades, and data conversion activities.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Work closely with offshore and onshore teams to deliver project milestones.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with Assure Insurance Platform.
- Strong Java development experience.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Java
- Spring Framework
- Spring Boot
- REST APIs
- SQL
- Web Services
- Experience with application integration and system interfaces.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Life Insurance domain experience.
- Experience with Policy Administration Systems.
- Knowledge of AWS or Cloud technologies.
- Experience with Microservices architecture.
- Exposure to insurance data migration and modernization projects.
- Prior experience supporting DXC or similar insurance clients.
Domain Experience:
- Life Insurance experience is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of policy administration, underwriting, billing, commissions, and claims processes.
