As the Senior Associate, Validation under MS&T Team, youwill be responsible to maintain the design control of the products andowns the lifecycle management process of the products at site. You will beresponsible to liaise with R&D for the transfer of technical documentationrelating to design control and risk management review of the products in scope.Ensures seamless flow of knowledge and information across functions, and withother sites when applicable. Responsible for Technical Transfer activities atsite level, including any scale-up.

In thisrole, a typical day will include:

. Oversee multiple technical projects, ensuringgoals are met through specialized expertise and technological innovation

. Develop, implement, and evaluate new productionmaterials, equipment, and technologies before mass production

. Complete manufacturing research and developmentto solve problems related to production cost and quality

. Conduct technical feasibility tests to ensureproduction efficiency

. Evaluate project capacity as the basis forproduction process design and development

. Develop and implement standard manufacturingprocedures

. Evaluate production processes to reduce overallcosts and determine product quality standards

. Arrange equipment and tools to supportproduction

. Select and communicate with vendors to determineproduct specifications and ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery

. Engage with partner functions such as Researchand Development, commercial, and quality

. Make recommendations affecting project outcomes,requiring advanced problem-solving and technical expertise

. Stay current with advances in the field and takean agile approach to problem-solving by testing, iterating, and refiningsolutions

. Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations bystrictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurateand complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completingall required training

. What You'llBring to Alcon

. Degree in Engineering or scientificfield

. Min 5 years of relevant workexperience in validation activities

. Knowledge in aseptic and sterilization

. Able to provide after office hourssupport for validation related activities when required
