Mann Talks is a non-profit mental health initiative of the Shantilal Shanghvi Foundation, the family foundation of Mr. Dilip Shanghvi, Founder of Sun Pharmaceuticals. Established in 2020, the initiative is guided by the belief that mental health is an integral and essential component of overall health, and works to make quality mental health support accessible, inclusive, and stigma-free.
Mann Talks operates across India through a combination of preventive, promotive, and therapeutic interventions, engaging individuals, institutions, and communities to build awareness, resilience, and timely access to care. Our service delivery includes counselling services (Helpline Counselling, Email Counselling, and Mann Ki Therapy), a digital knowledge portal for mental health information, workshops, and research-informed mindfulness offerings available in both Hindi and English. Role and Responsibilities:
We're looking for an individual that is comfortable working in a dynamic environment, has the ability to take initiative and deliver on projects, and multitask. At their core, persons interested in this role should be aligned with the organization's aspiration of creating a mental health infrastructure in the country, for underserved communities.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will work closely with the Strategy & Operations Lead (S&O Lead) and report directly to them. The role will include, but is not limited to:
· Collaborating with the S&O Lead to build the organizational strategy.
· Ensuring the smooth functioning of, and supporting the execution of, all existing programs.
· Monitoring and evaluating the performance of programs and interventions, including designing appropriate evaluation frameworks, analysing data, and supporting the creation of relevant reports.
· Ideating, designing, and managing the end-to-end implementation of new programs and interventions, while exploring growth opportunities for existing programs.
· Supporting Program Officers in identifying, finalizing, and managing collaborations and partnerships.
· Assisting with overall marketing and communications, as well as administrative tasks such as vendor liaison, recruitment, and training of new hires.
· Representing Mann Talks at external events and meetings.
· Performing any other tasks assigned by the S&O Lead.
All programs of Mann Talks are currently fully funded by the Shantilal Shanghvi Foundation and so there are no fund-raising responsibilities that the candidate will need to shoulder.
Desirous Candidates Must Have:
· Graduate/Post Graduate degree, preferably in management or social sciences.
· Work experience of at least 5 years (preferably in consulting or development sector).
· Project management skills refined through experience in planning and managing medium to large-scale projects with high levels of autonomy and stakeholder management.
· Strong problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills.
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized and juggle multiple priorities.
· Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Highest standards of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
· Willing to commit for a duration of at least two years
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM or 11 AM to 8 PM, with alternate Saturdays as working days.
Location: Wadala, Mumbai (full-time, in-office role with limited work-from-home provisions)

Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's skills and experience, in line with sector standards. Benefits include health insurance, leave encashment and paid time off (22 privileged leaves, 7 sick leaves, 7 casual leaves and 11 public holidays).
