Roles & Responsibilities
Product Development & Innovation:
- Drive sustainable growth by developing innovative products aligned with business and consumer needs
- Lead pilot plant activities with a strong focus on EOHS and Quality
- Execute technology product development projects independently from concept to implementation
- Gain expertise in Personal Care/Home Care and develop end-to-end business understanding
Process Optimization & Cost Efficiency:
- Identify opportunities for formula/process optimization to reduce costs
- Support supplier identification and qualification for cost-effective, quality ingredient sourcing
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Packaging, Regulatory, Marketing, and global teams
- Lead supplier qualification programs and support packaging material qualification
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure 100% compliance with standards and processes
- Maintain accurate documentation of processes, test results, and project outputs
Continuous Improvement:
- Initiate and implement programs for continuous improvement in R&D
- Stay updated with emerging technology trends through networking and research
Key Stakeholders:
- Internal: VPs, GMs, Managers, Technical Staff, Cross-functional Teams
- External: Regulatory Officials, Vendors, Suppliers
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master's degree with 26 years of experience in product development (Cosmetic/Pharma)
- Experience in formulation, particularly soap making and surfactants, oils & fats
- Strong analytical and result-oriented approach
- Experience in technology transfer and data preparation for new product launches
