Job Purpose
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Salesforce QA Engineer with Automation experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and hands-on experience in designing and executing both manual and automated test strategies. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of Salesforce applications, including custom development, integrations, and third-party tools.
Desired Skills And Experience
Candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
57 years of experience in QA/testing, with at least 23 years in Salesforce testing.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and security model.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript).
Experience testing Salesforce Lightning Experience and LWC components.
Familiarity with Salesforce APIs and integration testing.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing for Salesforce applications including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as:
Selenium WebDriver
Provar
TestNG/JUnit
Apex test classes
Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured.
Validate Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, flows, and integrations.
Collaborate with developers, admins, and business analysts to ensure test coverage and resolve defects.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.
Maintain test data and environments for consistent and repeatable test execution.
Document test results, log defects, and track them to closure using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Evaluate and ensure quality of deliverables within project timelines
Ensure effective, efficient, and continuous communication (written and verbally) with global stakeholders
Responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects, coordination between client and internal offshore teams and manage client queries
Demonstrate high attention to detail, should work in a dynamic environment whilst maintaining high quality standards, a natural aptitude to develop good internal working relationships and a flexible work ethic
Responsible for Quality Checks and adhering to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) / Turn Around Time (TAT)
