Role: Senior Associate, Insurance & Risk - APAC
Location: Bengaluru
Overview
We are partnering with a leading global organization to identify a high-caliber insurance and risk professional to support and strengthen its Asia Pacific risk management and insurance operations.
This role offers exposure to complex regional programs, broker governance, global insurance structures, and strategic initiatives, including potential captive insurance development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead coordination with local and regional insurance brokers to ensure timely and compliant service delivery
- Provide subject matter expertise and advisory on risk management and insurance matters across the organization
- Support development and optimization of insurance programs across local, regional, and global portfolios
- Manage insurance claims reporting, escalation, and resolution with brokers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain insurance documentation, e-policies, valuations, and related administration
- Prepare materials for internal training, presentations, and risk awareness initiatives
- Assist in design and implementation of a captive insurance vehicle in APAC (as required)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on insurance valuation, invoicing, billing, and acquisition/disposition tracking
Skills & Experience
- 57+ years of experience in the insurance or risk industry (broker, insurer, or corporate risk function)
- Strong working knowledge of Property & Casualty and Financial Lines (Cyber, Crime, D&O)
- Professional insurance qualifications preferred (ACII, DGIRM / ADGIRM or in progress)
- Strong proficiency in MS Office with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail, strong organizational ability, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Exposure to real estate or asset-heavy environments is advantageous but not mandatory
