As we scale, our focus is shifting from just acquiring new customers to building a community of loyalists. We need a retention powerhouse who understands the pulse of the Indian D2C consumer.

Role Summary

As the Senior Associate of Retention Marketing, you will be the guardian of our customer database. Your mission is simple but challenging: Ensure that a customer's first purchase at Nobero is the beginning of a long-term relationship. You will own the entire post-purchase lifecycle, turning one-time buyers into brand advocates using data-driven storytelling and precision targeting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle Architecture: Build and manage automated drip journeys across the customer lifecycle—Welcome series, post-purchase follow-ups, Abandoned Cart recovery, and Win-back flows.
  • Platform Mastery: Hands-on management of tools like Klaviyo, Netcore, WebEngage, or Braze to deploy Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Push Notification campaigns.
  • The Nobero Loyalty Program: Lead the strategy for our loyalty and rewards program, ensuring it provides genuine value and drives repeat purchase frequency.
  • Advanced Segmentation: Utilize RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) analysis to create high-intent segments. You'll tailor communication based on whether a customer is a First-timer, a Loyalist, or At-risk.
  • Revenue Growth: Take ownership of the Retention Revenue target. You will be responsible for increasing the percentage of monthly revenue coming from returning customers.
  • Creative Collaboration: Work with our design and content teams to ensure retention assets are visually stunning, mobile-first, and aligned with our brand's casual-cool aesthetic.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: 5–8 years of experience in CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, or Retention Marketing, preferably within the E-commerce or D2C apparel industry.

Data Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with hands-on expertise in Google Analytics and Excel. Ability to interpret cohort analysis, customer behavior trends, and retention metrics to identify opportunities and improve performance.

Communication: Excellent copywriting and communication skills with the ability to create compelling campaigns, impactful subject lines, and engaging customer journeys that drive conversions.

Mindset: A highly experimental and data-driven mindset with a strong focus on continuous optimization through A/B testing across messaging, creatives, CTAs, and campaign timings.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  1. Repeat Purchase Rate (RPR): Increasing the % of customers who buy a second and third time.
  2. Customer Lifetime Value (CLV): Driving up the total value of a customer over a 12-month period.
  3. Churn Reduction: Identifying and re-engaging customers before they stop interacting with the brand.
  4. Channel ROI: Optimizing the cost-to-revenue ratio for SMS and WhatsApp marketing.
