A highly respected Management Consulting firm, offering strategic advisory for growth, business performance enhancement support, and helping in strategic alliances & mergers/acquisitions to leading Indian and International companies across sectors, operating largely in India, GCC region, and South Asia (www.tkc.in)

Role Purpose: Ensure practice growth by managing client project delivery and project revenue.

Roles & Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Manage and contribute to consulting assignments through project conceptualization and delivery plan
  • Work on jobs/tasks that contribute towards providing client superior solutions and results
  • Ensure practice growth by managing client project delivery
  • Lead multiple projects concurrently

Business Development & Service Development

  • Contribute to the repository of consulting processes and knowledge bank
  • Read and keep updated on developments in sector/expertise area/responsibility
  • Assist senior leadership on business development efforts

Project and Client Management

  • Ensure proper work allocation and engagement for the team
  • Evaluate the financial aspects of projects, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections
  • Manage client relations, client calls and work towards repeat business from the clients

Firm Development and Management

  • Guide and mentor the practice team and help them grow and deliver quality outputs
  • Create market opportunities for all the services offered by TKC
  • Participate in industry forums/public speaking/writing articles/conducting workshops for clients and associates/lecture at institutes we recruit from

Desired Profile

Education: B.E/B. Tech./MBA/PGDBM/Postgraduates (Economics, Statistics and related areas)

Experience: 5-7 Years of relevant experience with a consulting firm/Retail/FMCG companies/ Consumer facing enterprises

Knowledge areas & Skills

  • Cross-functional understanding of consumer and private consumption environment in India
  • Understanding of the Indian society and its heterogeneity across both urban and rural landscape
  • Aware of social, economic and political landscape of India and their context for consumer facing businesses
  • Good bi-lingual skills in English and an Indian language. Multi-lingual desirable.
  • Experience/exposure across retail environment in India
  • Project Management Skills
  • Hands on experience in developing business strategy /corporate strategy
  • Experience in handling various aspects of a business development process from lead generation, presales and proposals to post-business development support (desirable but not mandatory)
  • Open to travel on job assignments and spend extended periods away from home base or at client site
