Your impact

Join us as a Senior Associate Civil Engineer/Project Manager, where you will combine technical expertise with project leadership to deliver high quality civil and structural solutions across Singapore and the wider Asia region.

  • Professional representation of company during the course of business.
  • Civil and Structural engineering design, authorities submission, site supervision and inspection, project management and assist in business development.
  • Participate in meetings & visit project sites to understand project requirements.
  • Work with fellow consultants and external parties to facilitate smooth progress of projects.
  • Work effectively and cooperatively with others, establish and maintain good working relationships.
  • Assume responsibilities and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks.
  • Manage communication with clients and all stakeholders.
  • Effectively meet customer needs, build productive customer relationships, takes responsibilities for customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Effectively manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.
  • Being proactive and taking prompt action to accomplish objectives and achieve goals beyond what is required.
  • Undertakes continuous learning and improvement, apply new skills, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Regularly create and take advantage of learning opportunities using newly gained knowledge and skills on the job and learning through application.
  • Learn to be knowledgeable with company's functions, systems, processes and solutions.
  • Attend and participate at various relevant and approved training to equip oneself with necessary skill and knowledge.
  • Assisting the design and documentation delivery processes of the business in Singapore and throughout the Asian Region.
  • Responsible for maintaining Quality Assurance/compliance, strict adherence project deadlines and profitability of the projects being assigned
  • Follow the policies and procedures of the company's documented Quality System

Here's what you'll need

The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise across civil and structural engineering design, authority submission, site supervision, inspections and project delivery.

The individual will possess the following ;

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB ) Singapore
  • Min. 12 years of working experience after graduation, with at least 8 years of local Singaporean experience.
  • Min. 2 years of working experience as a project manager/lead structural engineer in SPPG's electrical substation (66kV and above) projects.
  • Good experience on design of building/infrastructure/industrial projects.
  • Good communication, technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of local authorities requirements and Eurocodes.
  • Good knowledge of SPPG's building requirements.
  • May be required to work on site or overseas based on project needs.
