Role Overview
We are looking for a Workforce Manager with strong expertise in technical workforce planning and HR operations to manage demandsupply alignment across engineering and digital teams. The role requires deep collaboration with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Technology leadership to ensure availability of skilled resources in Salesforce, UI/UX, XT, and Java domains while driving workforce efficiency, compliance, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Workforce Planning & Capacity Management
- Design and execute short-term and long-term workforce demand forecasting models based on project pipelines and business growth plans
- Manage capacity planning, utilization tracking, and bench optimization for technical teams
- Maintain and govern skills inventory and competency matrices across Salesforce, UI/UX, XT, and Java roles
- Drive workforce optimization strategies to balance cost, capacity, and capability
Technical Skill Alignment
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and Delivery leaders to understand technical role requirements and skill depth
- Ensure accurate mapping of resources to projects based on technical proficiency, certifications, and experience
- Support workforce readiness for new technologies through reskilling and upskilling initiatives
- Monitor evolving technology needs and proactively plan talent supply
HR Operations & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition teams to plan hiring, internal movements, and succession pipelines
- Provide inputs on headcount planning, hiring forecasts, and onboarding schedules
- Support performance management cycles with workforce data and skill insights
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, compliance standards, and workforce governance
Workforce Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze key workforce KPIs including utilization, attrition, capacity variance, skill coverage, and productivity
- Develop dashboards and reports for senior leadership to support data-driven workforce decisions
- Identify workforce risks and recommend mitigation plans
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 47 years of experience in Workforce Management, Resource Planning, or HR Operations within IT/Technology organizations
- Strong understanding of technical skill ecosystems, including: Salesforce (Admin, Developer, Architect roles), UI/UX (Research, Design, Front-end collaboration), XT platforms / tools relevant to enterprise applications, Java (Backend, Full-stack development environments)
- Hands-on experience with workforce planning tools, HRMS, or ERP systems
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, or workforce analytics platforms
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to large-scale IT services, SaaS, or digital product organizations
- Knowledge of skills taxonomy frameworks and competency modeling
- Certification in HR Analytics, Workforce Planning, or Agile methodologies
