Senior Associate, Non SAP Integration

Position Purpose

The purpose of this role is to work closely with the Product Expert, SAP Integration, and support external service providers as well as the Zoetis ITS infrastructure, functional, and integration teams to assist in the design, implementation, and sustainment of systems and solutions to support the global Animal Health business.

The ideal candidate will excel in designing, developing, and managing seamless integrations between diverse systems and applications within the organization, with a primary focus on non-SAP integrations. This role involves leveraging MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Azure Integration Services, and interacting with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient integration solutions for Zoetis and its partners.

• Interacting with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, understand business processes, and ensure that technical solutions align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Work with implementation partners who may be responsible for deploying, configuring, or maintaining integrated solutions within the client's IT landscape.
• Coordinate with developers and other members of the development team to implement technical system solutions, share knowledge, and address technical challenges.

Education and Experience

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Technical, System Administration, IT Infrastructure Management, or Business field.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in the Enterprise Application Integration domain.
• At least 3 years of experience in development on the MuleSoft platform.
• At least 3 years of experience with database platforms such as Oracle, MySQL, etc.
• Experience in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and XML.
• Good understanding of API Management and its design principles.

Technical Skills Requirements

Indicate the technical skills required and/or preferred, as applicable to the position.

• Expertise in Upgrade, Migration, Implementation, and Production Support Projects, along with a keen passion to stay up to date with the latest technologies and coming up with PoCs for how they can be used by clients.
• Understanding of integration concepts, including synchronous and asynchronous communication, message mapping, and data transformation.
• Proficiency with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio for API and integration development; experience with API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange for managing APIs and shared assets.
• Familiarity with defining policies, API gateways, and security best practices.
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and API Management for creating cloud-based integration solutions.
• Knowledge of integration patterns, event-driven architectures, and hybrid cloud scenarios.
• Ability to troubleshoot integration issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Experience using Integration features like API Management, Event Mesh, REST/SOAP/OData, Integration Advisor, and Open Connectors.
• Handled at least one end-to-end MuleSoft integration implementation, upgrade, migration, and/or rollout.
• Should have good analytical skills to understand the requirement better and should be able to work independently with clients and partners.

• Regular working hours are from 3:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST (ICC Second Shift).
• Sometimes, more overlap with the EST Time zone is required during production go-live.
