Job Description
Commercial & Business Support
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (MSAs, SaaS, software licensing/reselling, NDAs, DPAs, etc.) with customers, vendors, and partners.
- Advise internal teams on contract terms, legal risk, and negotiation alternatives.
- Support business, delivery, procurement, infosec, and operations on day-to-day legal matters.
- Review proposals and operational arrangements; identify legal issues and propose sustainable solutions.
- Manage full contract lifecycle: intake, review, approvals, execution, renewals, amendments, deviations, and obligation tracking.
- Review employment contracts, consultant agreements, and related workplace documentation.
- Maintain contract repository – ensure agreements are stored, updated, and retrievable.
Regulatory & Data Protection
- Advise on legal/regulatory requirements for AI-led, technology, and digital businesses.
- Support privacy and data protection matters – personal data processing, data sharing, vendor arrangements, and operational issues.
- Review and negotiate privacy-related clauses across customer, partner, and vendor contracts.
Additional Responsibilities
- Respond to contractual, regulatory, and operational queries from the business.
- Support senior lawyers on implementing new laws and regulatory changes, including SOPs, processes, and cross-functional workflows.
- Coordinate monthly legal training sessions on key commercial, regulatory, and legal topics.
- Assist senior lawyers in drafting and maintaining templates, playbooks, handbooks, checklists, and training materials, ensuring alignment with applicable local/regional law.
