ServiceNow ITOM Event Management ServiceNow focused ITOM work with Event Management. Ensure critical alerts are processed and incidents generated. Research, create & test Event & Alert rules. Notable experience with Regex. Build ServiceNow event management rules/workflows for in-scope monitoring tools such as (but not limited to) OpsRamp, SolarWinds, Azure Monitor. Build Alert Correlation rules in conjecture with platform teams, gathering requirement for same as well. Integration with the in-scope monitoring tools for on boarding alerts of Network and server monitoring. Integration with ITSM platform such as (but not limited to) ServiceNow. Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge. Integration with Monitoring tools for gathering metric data for Operational Intelligence. Knowledge of other ITOM modules would be a plus but not mandatory. ServiceNow ITOM Discovery Setting up a CMDB process comprising analysis, plan, design and implement phase. Manage all customer CMDBs end to end and run scheduled report outs. Provide configuration management support to multiple IT projects simultaneously. Possess comprehensive knowledge of the configuration management field and ability to complete difficult and complex assignments. Must have experience in implementing and using configuration management for multi-environment IT applications. Ability to implement and work on various IT Infra & Application using ServiceNow Discovery is a prerequisite. Having deep knowledge of Business Service Maps and configure Availability reporting is a must Ability to engage customers and operation teams to resolve root cause issues in a positive, non-adversarial manner. Demonstrate proven leadership skills, be an independent performer and be able to deliver with minimal or no supervision. Should have experience in describing provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits. Great organization skills to prioritize, follow up, deliver, and communicate status of assigned actions. Deep analytical skills to understand complex procedural problems, identify root causes and provide solutions.
