Senior Associate - Investment Banking (Oil & Gas)

Job Purpose:

Acuity is currently looking for dedicated and motivated individuals who have strong leadership, organizational and teamwork skills for its Investment Banking team based in Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting our clients on multiple O&G sector

• Preparing financial analysis including trading/ transaction comparable, operational/ financial benchmarking, valuation analysis, etc.

• Preparing pitch books, industry research, deals & peers screening, company profiles, asset profiles, and company focused discussion documents related to various industries.

• Meeting project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure high client satisfaction

• Engaging client independently on calls and e-mails

• Other responsibilities include:

o Scoping the new projects, structuring deliverables/new research products

o Producing high quality informative and visually appealing presentations and deck

o Demonstrating strength and experience in client / requester relationship building and management, information / knowledge needs assessment

Key Competencies:

• MBA/ CFA/ CA /PG in Oil & Gas

• 4-6 years of experience in the Investment banking space

• Experience of working Investment banking projects, including:

o Pitch book / IM support and company / asset profiles

o Detailed financial analysis with knowledge / experience of working on financial statements o Target identification, Trading and Transaction comps

o Benchmarking, Ratio analysis o Macro-economic and industry overviews with experience working across various industries

o Bespoke qualitative research

• Should be able to work independently, with minimal guidance and support

• Prior experience in handling clients directly through calls / mails

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills

• Should be well versed with MS Office suite specially Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point

• Working knowledge of database such as CapitalIQ, Factset, Wood Mckenzie, Pitchbook, Alpha Sense etc..
