Network Release Manager and Logistics Role
- Manage and drive network refreshes
- Work with vendor to drive changes and manage logisitics for hardware, software and business partner
- Oversee project deployments, planning and changes in schedules
- Work closely with release team to ensure the network changes are properly managed
- Perform administrative tasks for the logisitcs team

Job Title: Senior Network Logistics– Network Lifecycle & Release
Management Band: 8IC (Individual Contributor)
Location: Pune preferred, Mumbai optional
Work Schedule: Standard weekday hours; minimum 2 weekends/month mandatory during release cycles
Role Summary Seeking a senior individual contributor to own end-to-end network lifecycle management, release governance, and vendor/partner coordination. This role bridges technical execution with business stakeholder management, ensuring seamless delivery of network changes, hardware refreshes, circuit provisioning, and software/licensing lifecycle. No direct reports — deep technical and coordination ownership required.
Key Responsibilities
Own network lifecycle management — planning, EOL/EOS tracking, refresh roadmaps, and capacity forecasting
Lead network release management: scheduling, risk assessment, change approval, and post-release validation
Coordinate with internal business units and external partners on change windows, impact assessments, and communication
Manage vendor relationships for hardware procurement, circuit provisioning, and software licensing renewals
Drive SLA adherence with vendors on delivery timelines, support escalations, and contract compliance
Maintain accurate asset inventory, license compliance, and audit readiness
Provide mandatory weekend support (minimum 2 weekends/month) during scheduled release windows
Partner with security, architecture, and operations teams to align releases with enterprise standards
Required Qualifications
12–15 years in network infrastructure, with demonstrated ownership of lifecycle/release management
Active network certification mandatory (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent vendor-recognized certification)
Strong vendor management experience (hardware OEMs, telecom/circuit providers, software licensors)
Working knowledge of ITIL change/release management practices
Excellent stakeholder communication skills — internal and external
Availability for minimum 2 weekends/month during release cycles (non-negotiable)
Preferred Qualifications
ITIL Foundation/Intermediate or PMP certification
Experience with network monitoring/ITSM tools (ServiceNow, SolarWinds, etc.)
Exposure to multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto)
