Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Associate - Product Design who will lead a team to deliver a wide range of projects with a passion for finding lean product solutions that excite our customers and enable them to use our products intuitively. You will work with other designers and cross-functional team members from software, engineering, production and business development.

Key Responsibilities

1. You will lead a team for new product development of educational products in STEM for children. You will be responsible end to end, i.e. from exploration, conceptualization, prototyping, testing, user testing and costing, and productionising new products in DIY Electronics, Robotics, Coding, AI, ML, AR/VR, and Computational Thinking among other fields.
2. Take ownership of iterating and improving products basis user feedback, production expectations (e.g scalability), market appeal etc.

Technical Requirements

1. A Degree in Design or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant managerial experience.
2. Good communication skills.
3. Proficiency in the following is essential:
4. Design Thinking
5. Fabrication: Manufacturing Processes, GDT,
6. Any of the two software: Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks
7. AutoCAD
8. Fabrication - Laser CNC Routing, 3D Printing, Injection Molding, Offset Printing
9. A keen interest in STEM education, robotics, and AI, ML, and AR/VR applications is essential.
10. Should have a working knowledge of
