CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
- Manage buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and business due diligence assistance to middle market companies and private equity investors
- Analyzing historic and current financial information. Summarizing and analyzing financial/accounting information relating to income statements, balance sheets, profitability data, quality of earnings, quality of net assets etc. For healthcare deals, this may include analysis of revenue by payor, service line, provider productivity, reimbursement trends, census or visit volumes, and other operational KPIs.
- Preparing Excel data books and analyzing revenue, margins, costs, assets, liabilities with the objective of identifying key issues such as normalized earnings, net debt, Liabilities, net working capital trends, valuation model input assumptions, analysis of forecasts etc.
- Preparation of due diligence reports highlighting key findings and presenting summary analysis, including healthcare-specific findings related to waterfalls, reimbursement models, payor concentration, regulatory considerations, physician compensation structures, and volume trends, as applicable.
- Coordinating among various teams working on the engagement both in US and India
- Creating strong relationships with clients and Target management
- Identifying deal issues, assessing their impact on the transaction (valuation)
Your Experience.
The successful candidate will have:
- 2 to 3 years of experience
- Qualified CA or MBA/PGDM in Finance from reputed institution
- Experience supporting financial due diligence engagements in the healthcare sector is strongly preferred, including healthcare services, provider-based businesses, pharma, medtech, or related subsectors. Experience in other industries is a plus. Candidates with experience in other industries who demonstrate strong aptitude and willingness to develop healthcare expertise will also be considered.
- Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS is preferred
- CFA (or pursuing) is a plus
- Excellent accounting skills and strong understanding of financial statements
- Understanding of key healthcare business drivers, including reimbursement frameworks, payor mix, utilization metrics, regulatory considerations, and revenue cycle concepts.
- Ability to work independently and strong attention to details.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing English; should be able to communicate with clients on the phone and email.
- Working knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Data Analytics knowledge (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python is a plus)
- Familiarity with Virtual Data Room (VDR) platforms such as Intralinks or Data site
