We are looking for a Senior Associate for our Evidence Hubs who will play a core role in supporting GSF's growing portfolio of Evidence Hubs. The Senior Associate will primarily support the ECD in Emergencies and Learning Differences Evidence Hubs,with scope to support other Hubs as needed.For more information our Evidence Hubs visit our careers portal - https://www.globalschoolsforum.org/about-us/careers

RoleResponsibilities

Research and writing:You'llsupport the day-to-day research and writing that underpins the Evidence Hubsby:

  • Conducting desk research, landscape reviews, interviews, and consultations acrossdifferent themes.
  • Making sense of qualitative and secondary evidence and turning it into clear written outputslike learningbriefs, guidance notes, case documentation, and practitioner tools.
  • Keeping track of new evidence, models, and sector conversations so our work stays relevant and grounded inwhat'shappening on the ground.

Testingand adoption support:You'llwork with partner organisations to co-create, test, and applytools in practiceby:

  • Identifyingand shaping opportunities to co-create, pilot, or adopttools with partner organisations, in line with Evidence Hub priorities.
  • Coordinating pilot activities with partner organisations, including scheduling, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Gathering feedback from practitioners and supporting iterative improvements to tools and frameworks based on how they are used in practice.
  • Supporting the delivery of workshops and other learning formats that help partners understand, adapt, and embedtools in ways that strengthen implementation and learning.

Peer learning and dissemination:You'llhelp share learning in ways that are practical and accessibleby:

  • Supporting the design and delivery of peer-learning spaces, includingcommunities ofpractice, webinars, and workshops.
  • Helpingidentifyopportunitiesto share Evidence Hub learning throughconferences, sector events,andexternal platforms, and preparingmaterials as needed.

Projectmanagement:You'llhelp keep things moving by:

  • Coordinatingwith internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of Evidence Hub activities.
  • Maintainingtimelines,trackingtasks,managingdocumentation, andsupportingproject planning.

Strengthening and evolving theEvidenceHubs:Over time,you'llhelp improve how the Evidence Hubs function by:

  • Using insights from research, partner engagement, pilots, and learning activities to inform the evolving focus and design of each Hub.
  • Strengtheningthe Evidence Hub as a user-centred platform by ensuring tools are easy to find, intuitive to use, and aligned with practitioner demand.
  • Supporting the development ofinternal frameworks, templates, andways of workingthat improve the qualityandusability of Huboutputs.

Person Specification

Knowledge, experience, and skills

  • Understanding of the education or international development sectors; familiarity with non-state education,childcareandearly childhood development, or supporting children with learning disabilities.
  • Experience working with partners (NGOs, researchers, or funders), supporting collaboration, learning, or programme design.
  • Strongresearch skills,toshape research agendas, learning questions, and evidence outputsfor practitioners and fundersaligned with strategic priorities.
  • Experience working at the intersection of research and practice, including supporting the testing, adaptation, or adoption of tools, frameworks, or approaches with implementing organisations.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to produce well-crafted case studies, briefs,and materialsfor practitioners and funders.
  • Comfort working directly with practitioners and partners to gather feedback,identifypatterns across contexts, and use these insights to iteratively strengthen tools, resources, and learning products.
  • Experience shaping tools or resources with auser lens, informed by practitioner feedback and usage
  • Experience supporting orfacilitatinglearning activities such as workshops, webinars, or Communities of Practice.
  • Ability to connect the dots through cross-team collaboration by sharing knowledge, improving processes, and strengthening the overall quality of Evidence Hub outputs.

Salary Range: 20,625 - 43,000. As a remote-first organisation, we benchmark salaries by region to ensure fair and competitive pay across all locations. Your offer will sit within the published range and reflect your location and experience.
