Responsibilities
- Develop precise pre-sales fibre routing proposals tailored for hyperscaler customers, aligning technical feasibility with business requirements. Collaborate with sales, bid management, and account managers to validate proposed fibre routes. Provide technical support during customer interactions and tender submissions. Plan infrastructure for pipeline connections and fibre deployments for data centres, proactively addressing fibre requirements. Oversee dark fibre projects, ensuring service delivery aligns with Customer Ready Dates (CRD). Manage and resolve site-related issues concerning pipeline and fibre infrastructure. Supervise contractors executing pipeline works, ensuring compliance with operational procedures and engineering standards. Ensure timely completion of pipeline works to facilitate efficient service provision. Participate in site meetings with public bodies, service agencies, and developers regarding underground plant provisions. Accurately close all fibre cable schemes and promptly update all necessary reports upon project completion. Manage order processing for fibre-based products, liaising with building management and contractors for implementation tasks. Oversee fibre splicing, termination, patching, and testing, ensuring adherence to safety procedures outlined in the Work Health and Safety Act (WHSA). Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with all levels of stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating effective time management. Class 3 driving license is required. A proactive and collaborative team player, eager to learn and develop.
