Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file Income Tax returns, tax audit reports, and other statutory filings.
- Litigation & Audit: Assist in handling Income Tax assessments, audits, and litigation matters.
- Advisory: Support tax advisory assignments, structuring, and FEMA-related matters.
- Research: Analyze provisions of the Income Tax Act and related regulations.
- Representation: Prepare submissions, appeals, and representations before tax authorities.
- Coordination: Work with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of assignments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: CA Semi-Qualified.
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in Direct Tax.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Income Tax Act, compliance procedures, and litigation processes.
- Communication: Excellent drafting, research, and communication skills.
- Bonus: A good understanding of FEMA regulations is considered an added advantage.
