Role Overview
We're looking for a Product Analyst who can turn discussions into actionable insights to drive product decisions. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. In this role, the candidate will support product owners with requirement analysis, user story refinement, testing support, feature implementation, stakeholder management, and more. It will be important for the candidate to develop a deep understanding of ESS business processes to effectively support various stakeholders that use the platform.
The primary platform being supported (but not limited to) is ServiceNow, which is used as an intake portal for colleagues needing to engage a third party vendor.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders and senior leaders to understand strategic priorities, define objectives, and ensure alignment of product capabilities with enterprise goals and ESS strategy
- Drive end-to-end delivery of product initiatives, including discovery, requirements definition, development support, testing, implementation, and post-launch optimization
- Own and manage core products supporting Strategic Sourcing & Business Enablement (SSBE), ensuring stability, scalability, and continuous enhancement of capabilities
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to lead analysis, facilitate workshops, and support all phases of the agile product lifecycle, including backlog refinement, user story development, UAT, and release planning
- Act as a strategic thought partner by identifying opportunities to modernize processes, challenge legacy approaches, and deliver innovative, user-centric solutions that elevate the colleague experience
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable deliverables, ensuring alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Partner with Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) and external vendors to drive execution, resolve dependencies, and ensure high-quality, timely delivery of solutions
- Leverage data and user insights to evaluate product performance, inform decision-making, and prioritize enhancements
- Ensure adherence to enterprise standards, governance, and risk and control requirements across all product initiatives
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in product analysis, business analysis, or a related role supporting enterprise platforms or digital products
- Demonstrated ability to bridge business needs and technical solutions, with experience translating requirements into actionable user stories and supporting product delivery
- Experience supporting enterprise applications (e.g., ServiceNow or similar platforms) preferred, with familiarity across multiple modules or workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform product decisions and enhancements
- Experience working within Agile frameworks, including participation in backlog refinement, sprint planning, user story development, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Proven ability to operate independently with a high level of ownership, effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across ESS, SSBE, Enterprise Technology Services (ETS), and external partners
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational and coordination skills to support end-to-end product execution and delivery
- Interest in leveraging data and emerging technologies to enhance product capabilities and improve the colleague experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred
