The Role

Unispace is looking for an experienced Senior Associate, Design to lead the creation and delivery of inspiring workplace environments.

You will manage projects from initial concept through to construction, build strong client relationships and guide multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and commercially successful designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create workplace design solutions from concept through to construction.
• Develop trusted client relationships and present clear, compelling design proposals.
• Lead project teams across all design phases.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Construction teams.
• Oversee bid packages, technical drawings and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and internal delivery teams.
• Mentor junior designers and maintain high design standards.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes and industry standards.
• Contribute new ideas to Unispace's design standards and methodology.
• Interpret client requirements and translate them into functional, innovative solutions.

About You

• 15+ years of professional interior design experience.
• Extensive experience delivering corporate workplace interiors.
• Strong client presentation, pitching and relationship-management skills.
• Proven experience leading design teams and managing project timelines.
• Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong technical knowledge of detailed drawings, material specifications and construction documentation.
• In-depth knowledge of interior detailing, millwork drawings and FF&E.
• Familiarity with international and regional building codes.
• Experience preparing design proposals and supporting sales teams through the contract process.
• A collaborative, commercially aware and confident communicator.
