Job Description

  • Should be ready to work in 24x7 support operations.
  • Must be ready to work from office mode from the work location (Coforge or Client Office).
  • Should have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must have hands-on experience in handling L3-level support for different versions of Linux OS. RHEL 6.0-9.0 and VMware Virtualization in a complex environment for DC -DR Environment.
  • Should have hands-on experience in handling Chassis, Blades/Rack Servers Foresight Interconnect, etc.
  • Should be able to own and troubleshoot the production-related issues and escalate to respective OEM/Tech Support (as and when required).
  • Hands-on experience in Patch deployment, Storage LUN allocation/deallocation, network configuration
  • Should be able to work on OS hardening and security policy deployments.
  • Work on new requirements and create, migrate, and modify VMs as and when needed.
  • Participated and troubleshoot Major Incidents applied solutions and submitted root cause analysis to the client against all production-impacting incidents.
  • Identify and apply the permanent fix for all production-impacting incidents.
  • Prepare Knowledge Articles for all regular maintenance activity and Major incident resolution cases.
  • Work on the Service Requests and ensure requests are fulfilled timely and as per requirements.
  • Regular upgrade of device versions as per OEM recommendations and ensure devices version is always maintained to N-1 or most stable versions.
  • Regular review of configurations and remove unwanted network policies/contracts in consultation with Client SPOCs.
  • Apply ITSM Practices and make sure Incidents, Changes, and Problems are handled as per ITIL Guidelines.
  • Adhere to the client security policy, review vulnerabilities, and apply mitigation.
