Job Purpose:

For private equity professionals interested in working with leading global private equity real estate and credit funds or asset managers on supporting various stages of the investment cycle with a primary focus on Investor reporting for various closed ended RE funds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing detailed investor reports for various closed-ended real estate funds on quarterly basis, ensuring accuracy and clarity in presenting fund performance and investor updates.
  • Maintaining and developing yield trackers, utilizing capital calls and distribution notices to calculate key performance metrics such as IRR and MOIC for portfolios and individual investments to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Preparing fund-level outputs including NAV updates, performance reports, investor-level returns/fact sheets, dashboards, and trackers.
  • Assisting in preparation of fund strategy notes, quarterly commentary, sectoral exposure, asset-level summaries, pipeline activity, and market insights.
  • Track and analyze portfolio performance across diverse asset classes including multifamily, office/retail, industrial, hotel and self-storage by providing insights on current trends.
  • Conduct peer-benchmarking analysis and same-store analysis, prepare Investment Committee (IC) memos that articulate investment opportunities, risks, and strategic rationale.
  • Conduct in-depth market research across various U.S. markets, identifying trends, and economic indicators that impact real estate investments.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, build and maintain strong relationships with them while actively seeking opportunities for expansion

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 3-8 years of relevant experience in real estate investment management, LP reporting, CRE due diligence support or related disciplines.
  • CFA, CA, MBA from a top tier business school (with finance and accounting background).
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex data
  • Strong written and communication skills with experience in client relationship and internal stakeholders management
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PPT, MS - Word
  • Dedicated and motivated individuals having demonstrated the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines with strong leadership, analytical, and teamwork skills
  • Hands-on experience on various real estate tools or key databases (Yardi, RCA, CoStar, Green Street, CRE, REIS, Capital IQ, etc.) for market analysis and reporting.
