Goyel & Goyal is a full-service law firm with a PAN India presence, operating offices in New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chandigarh. The firm regularly advises venture funds and high growth companies in their investment transactions, fintech and frontier tech companies on regulatory and product compliance and RBI requirements, as well as existing and aspiring fund managers on licensing / registration requirements of AIFs, portfolio managers, and other regulated intermediaries. We have also recently expanded our Frontier Technologies, Media and Data Protection practice, and are building out the team to service growing demand in this space.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Associate role specializing in Corporate and Transactions, located at the New Delhi office OR the Bengaluru office (as per the choice of the candidate).

The responsibilities include advising on corporate and commercial matters, structuring and negotiating deals, drafting contracts, and working on mergers, acquisitions, venture capital, and private equity transactions. The Senior Associate will liaise with clients to deliver strategic legal advice, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and oversee complex transaction processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital, and private equity transactions.
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating contracts and other legal documents with attention to detail.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; LLM is a plus.
  • Prior experience (4+ years minimum) in corporate and transactional law, ideally within a law firm.
