Job Summary

The Senior Associate position is responsible for processing financial transactions within Trimont's European and Australian operating companies. This position is crucial for guaranteeing that all transactions are recorded in the general ledger accurately and in a timely manner. The Senior Associate is also responsible for preparing revenue invoices and coding expenses on the relevant systems. This role requires keen attention to detail and a collaborative problem-solving approach to addressing issues.

Responsibilities

  • Raise revenue invoices and liaise with asset managers on revenue questions.
  • Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist with direct and indirect tax returns
  • Assist with Accounts Payable Vendor set up, invoice uploading and processing.
  • Monitor unapplied cash daily, coordinating with the team to resolve any aging items promptly.
  • Preparing and managing ageing arrears.
  • Communicate with EMEA/APAC counterparts and build relationships with business Partners.
  • Serve as the main contact for addressing corporate cash inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects including technology enhancements, process automation, and acquisitions.
  • Assist with various year-end audits and compliance filings.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in corporate finance.
  • Handle workload efficiently.
  • High sense of accountability

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience, including work with accounts receivable (AR), month-end close procedures, and account analysis/reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to set priorities, plan and organize work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and administrative skills.
  • Should showcase strong professional conduct under all circumstances
