We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Compliance & Control Team Lead to join our Compliance team. This role is located in Pune.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manage a regional/jurisdictional team of support staff responsible for supporting the assessment of regulatory and policy requirements to develop programs and projects that improve regional/jurisdictional compliance.
  • Assist management in data assessment and development of reporting to support presentation of program and project recommendations to senior managers.
  • Recommend strategy changes to enhance the region's/jurisdiction's compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
  • Guide the team's analysis of legislation, regulatory announcements, and industry practices to align with the global compliance strategy.
  • Contribute to the assessment and validation of control processes ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Build relationships with business unit managers and regulators to facilitate timely completion of compliance activities and appropriate escalation of issues.
  • Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop support staff to maximize their contribution, professional growth, and team effectiveness.
  • Manage financial resources of the team including budgets and expenses.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; MBA or professional certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of total work experience, with 0-1 years of management experience preferred.
  • Background in Financial Services, Audit, or Compliance preferred.
  • Experience with financial services compliance and/or assigned products, services, or business lines and relevant laws, regulations, and rules preferred.
