We are seeking a Senior Associate - Complex Financial Instruments Accounting to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accounting and reporting of complex financial instruments, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex financial instrument accounting entries and disclosures in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures related to financial instruments.
- Support the financial reporting process by providing accurate and timely data on complex financial instruments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Conduct research on complex financial instruments and their accounting treatment to provide insights and recommendations.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on complex financial instruments.
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, including familiarity with valuation techniques for financial instruments.
- Experience with accounting software and tools, such as SAP or Oracle.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex financial information clearly.
