Senior associate

Your Role:

• To oversee and monitor the daily processing (including checking) and be accountable for, the daily loan processing requirements across the EMEA region.
• To act as an escalation and referral point for all direct reports, and provide guidance, knowledge and training where necessary.
• In conjunction with the Section Head, contribute to decision making and strategic planning to ensure Section performs to fullest ability and requirements, defined by processes and procedures.
• To ensure all daily loan requirements are transacted efficiently, correctly and within published deadlines, by the Section and assist with upholding Head Office rules, regulatory obligations and local procedures. Daily loan requirements also include fee processing, nostro reconciliations and associated loans reporting.
• To assist with ensuring all staff deliver key services to our front office clients and outsourced locations in EMEA division.
• Maintain close liaison with internal stakeholders in the marketing areas and TDED, F&C, etc to manage the processing of Loan transactions, including providing technical assistance as required and/or directed.
• Regular contact with external stakeholders namely financial institutions, bilateral customers and own inter-group companies.
• Attend meetings / conference calls with internal stakeholders to discuss processes, bespoke requirements, loan documentation operational clauses, etc.

Your Profile:

• Excellent understanding of general Loans Administration roles and responsibilities, including relevant current market knowledge.
• Solid understanding of LoanIQ, E-Works, LoRD, etc and all related systems.
• Knowledge in rollover/repayment/prepayments and Drawdowns and syndication/bilateral lending
• Confident in oral and written communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of SWIFT payments and the wider implications of payment formatting.
• Understand underlying legal loan documentation and be able to review all operational clauses from a workable point of view.
• Knowledge of funding markets, TD roles and responsibilities and the general implications of lack of daily interaction with TD areas across EMEA.
