Senior Associate-C ++ Software Engineer

Job Purpose

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in C++.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable applications and data solutions using C++ and Python, ensuring high performance and operational excellence.
• Transform structured and unstructured data into standardized, analytics-ready datasets to support quantitative analysis and financial engineering use-cases.
• Participate in code reviews, uphold coding standards, and drive continuous improvement of the codebase
• Develop automation tools and utilities to streamline software development, testing, deployment, and operational workflows
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, businessaligned technology solutions.
  
  

Key competencies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in C++ software development.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and systems programming concepts such as memory management, concurrency, synchronization, and I/O.
• Proficiency in modern C++ (C++11 or later), with strong command of the Standard Template Library (STL).
• Practical experience working in UNIX/Linux development environments and Git is a must.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify efficient and scalable solutions to complex issues.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a globally distributed team environment and work seamlessly across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, including gathering and clarifying requirements, interpreting business and technical logics, and driving tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
• Capable of articulating technical concepts, design decisions, and implementation logic clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, while collaborating effectively across teams.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, OpenCode, GitHub Copilot) to improve developer productivity and code quality.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or application development.
• Prior experience in the financial services is preferred, though not required.
