Position Title - Senior Associate

Department - Assurance

Reporting - Manager Assistant Manager / Manager

Experience - 1 to 3 years of experience into Assurance

Qualification - CA

Expectations and requirements:

• Should have strong proficiency in English – both written and oral.

• Should possess excellent knowledge of Assurance

• Should possess excellent knowledge of accounting standards, including and specifically Ind AS.

• Should have strong proficiency of using excel and spreadsheets.

• Have good understanding of concepts around accounting and assurance, including familiarity with

financial statements.

• Relevant articleship experience - primarily and substantially be in assurance.

• Have experience of working on site and performing assurance, including client and team management

experience.

• Have experience of reviewing financial statements, compiling reports, etc

• Have knowledge and experience of documentation, preparing and completing work

papers etc.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Performing testing procedures including substantive and controls testing, vouching, verification,

etc.

• Provide necessary support to the team manager on engagement formalities

• Handle areas and work allocated including testing and relevant procedures

• Prepare work papers and ensure compliance with firms policies and procedures and also

regulatory requirements.

• Manage and supervise junior team members including article staff.

• Act as a SPOC for the team with the client in terms of data flow, communication, coordination

and discussions.

• Coordinate with internal and external teams including client personnel for information/ data

• Support the team on standardization of processes, documentation, analysis of technical issues,

and research solutions.

• Support the team manager in project management, preparing status updated, compiling

requirements lists, etc

• Participate in meeting with various teams, and contribute for the areas and responsibilities

handled.

• Understanding business & industry issues / trends.

• Ensuring timely delivery of working papers as per the defined timelines.

• Ensuring compliance with engagement plans, internal quality & risk management procedures
