Job Description

Hiring for a leading media and community platform focused on HR and talent management across the Asia-Pacific region.

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Associate/Assistant Manager – Sales to drive revenue and partnerships for the client in India. The role involves selling event sponsorships, research solutions, and media partnerships while building relationships with senior leaders across organizations.

The ideal candidate will have strong consultative selling skills, relationship-building capabilities, and experience working with enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Generation

• Drive revenue through sales of event sponsorships, media partnerships, and research solutions.

• Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closure.

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Strategic Partnerships

• Build strong relationships with CEOs, Marketing Heads and Sales Leaders across organizations.

• Position People Matters offerings including events, research, content partnerships, media solutions, and community initiatives.

• Understand client objectives and recommend tailored partnership opportunities that deliver brand visibility and thought leadership.

• Develop long-term partnerships to ensure repeat business and account growth.

Business Development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across enterprise organizations in India.

• Develop a strong sales pipeline through outreach, networking, and referrals.

• Work closely with marketing and content teams to create impactful proposals and solutions.

Sales Operations

• Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting through CRM tools.

• Track sales performance and provide insights to improve business outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3-8 years of experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or business development.

• Experience selling event sponsorships, media solutions, marketing partnerships, or research products preferred.

• Strong ability to engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to thrive in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
