You communicate effectively across teams and geographies, take ownership of technical problems, and are motivated to learn, innovate, and continuously improve verification quality and efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, firmware engineers, and software teams to understand new features and define effective verification approaches.
  • Build comprehensive test plan documentation that accounts for feature interactions, hardware behavior, firmware flows, and software driver use cases.
  • Estimate verification effort for new feature tests and test environment enhancements.
  • Develop directed and random verification tests to validate functionality and improve design quality.
  • Debug simulation and test failures to identify root cause and partner with RTL and firmware engineers to resolve design defects and test issues.
  • Review functional coverage and code coverage metrics, then improve tests or constraints to achieve coverage goals.
  • Optimize verification workflows and contribute to continuous improvements in testbench quality, simulation efficiency, and overall execution.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Demonstrated experience in IP-level ASIC verification.
  • Hands-on experience debugging RTL code using simulation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of UVM methodology and SystemVerilog.
  • Experience using UVM testbenches in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Background in developing UVM-based verification frameworks, testbenches, processes, and flows.
  • Experience automating workflows in distributed compute environments.
  • Familiarity with simulation profiling, efficiency improvement, acceleration, and formal verification.
  • Scripting experience with Perl, Python, Makefile, and shell preferred.
  • Exposure to leadership or mentorship is desired.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as Ethernet, UAL, LLR, and CBFC is desired.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, automation, or engineering workflows.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent practical experience will also be considered where applicable.
