About The Role

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Area Sales Specialist drive growth in our LAP/HL product portfolio across the [North/South/East/West] region. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the Financial Services industry and a proven track record of managing and expanding sales teams through various channels, including Feet on Street, Sub-DSA (Direct Selling Agents), Open Market, and Connector channels. This role requires a strategic leader who will drive the region's sales targets, lead a high-performing team, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of outstanding sales performance.
  • As a Senior Area Sales Specialist, You Will Be
  • You will shape our product and culture by building relationships and onboarding stakeholders (builders, channel partners, connectors and mandate holders) through networking & unique marketing campaigns.
  • You will be recruiting, training and mentoring a sales team, BYOT (Build your own team)
  • You will ensure productivity and effectiveness of the location.
  • You will use your proactive personality to interface with teams & achieve targets through prudent credit checks & loan disbursals.
  • You will manage & oversee administrative & operational activities of the location - a lot of responsibility coupled with a lot of satisfaction!
  • You will be an anchor for company by increasing profitability and minimizing risk through a strong compliant sales culture, your perspective is very important to us
  • You would need to ensure a WOW experience for the customers while complying with company policies. You get full autonomy for your decisions, you run the show for us!

What We Are Looking For

  • As a Senior Area Sales Specialist, you'll be accountable for establishing relationships with new partners in SME space. What makes you a great fit:
  • Extensive Sales Management Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales management, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in the financial services industry, particularly in Home Loan/LAP.
  • Relationship Management Expertise: Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term, successful relationships with key partners, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Hands-on experience with technology and financial aspects: Proficient in leveraging financial technologies for efficient loan processing and management.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team: Skilled in recruiting, mentoring, and leading teams to achieve business goals.
  • Results-Oriented: A results-driven professional with a proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and business objectives. Strong focus on driving performance and achieving measurable success.
  • Knowledge about consumer behavior and market environment: In-depth understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong market connect: Established network and relationships within the home loan and LAP market.
  • In-depth Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the financial services market, including a comprehensive knowledge of loan products, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Strong Leadership & Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage sales teams effectively. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced qualification is highly desirable.
