Role Overview
We are looking for an Area Sales Executive for the Mumbai market (specifically Andheri, Mira Road, and the Western Line) to drive business in our Pet Nutrition segment. This role is focus on managing both primary and secondary sales through General Trade (GT) and Specialty Trade (SPT) channels.
Must-Have Skills
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience, specifically within the top FMCG, CPG, or Beverage industries.
- Market Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Mumbai market is essential.
- Language & Communication: Must be fluent in Hindi; conversational English and Marathi are preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Must be well-versed in Excel for reporting and sales tracking.
- Education: Graduation is required, while an MBA is preferred.
- Age Profile: Candidates should ideally be between 27 and 35 years old.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Distribution Management: Handle primary and secondary sales, manage distributors and wholesalers, and ensure healthy ROI for partners.
- Market Expansion: Execute Route-to-Market (RTM) strategies and expand coverage to increase market depth.
- Field Execution: Spend 17–18 days per month on the ground for sales activities, including travel to areas like Palghar, Andheri, Meera road.
- Relationship Building: Engage with high-volume retailers and key accounts to drive business growth.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 11 DSRs to achieve territory targets.
- Stock & Inventory: Monitor stock level maintenance and understand Pareto principles to optimize sales
