Job Title: Sr. Architect

Location: Pune (Bhugaon)

CTC: 7 10 LPA

Candidate Must be from Pune

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Sr. Architect from a real estate developer background. The role involves design coordination, consultant management, drawing control, and ensuring alignment between design intent and project execution across all stages.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in residential projects, cross-functional coordination, and documentation management. Candidates must currently be working with a leading real estate developer and demonstrate a stable career track record.

Qualification & Experience

M.Arch (mandatory)

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience

Experience with a real estate developer (mandatory)

Strong career stability preferred

Purpose of the Role

Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams and external consultants

Support timely completion of design and documentation activities

Act as a key coordination point across project stakeholders

Maintain alignment with project timelines and schedules

Reporting Structure

Reports to Operations Head

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

Conduct research for design development and improvement

Participate in conceptual planning and design brief discussions

Review conceptual schemes with Design and Sales/Marketing teams

Support finalization of layouts, unit plans, and building plans

Drawings & Documentation

Prepare and review IFD / GFC / Submission drawings

Ensure conversion of design sets into authority submission drawings

Maintain drawing accuracy, revisions, and document lists

Ensure consistency across architectural, fire, liaison, and sales drawings

Consultant & Stakeholder Coordination

Coordinate with architects and design consultants

Interface with Structural, MEP, Fire, and Environmental consultants

Ensure timely drawing deliverables

Coordinate with Legal, QS, Contracts, Planning, and Execution teams

Approvals & Compliance

Support liaisoning architect for approvals

Ensure compliance with local regulations

Coordinate Environmental Clearance where applicable

Planning & Budget Interface

Provide drawings/specifications for preliminary budgets

Participate in specification and rate discussions

Support value engineering initiatives

Align design decisions with budget constraints

Construction Stage Support

Conduct periodic site visits

Resolve site queries with consultants

Support mock-up approvals

Ensure design compliance during execution

Post-Construction Stage

Prepare As-Built drawings

Support society formation documentation

Capture project learnings and improvement reports

Mandatory Requirements

M.Arch qualification

Minimum 6 years of experience

Experience with a real estate developer- Mandatory

Strong design coordination experience

Consultant coordination exposure

Drawing/documentation management skills

Preferred Profile

Experience with reputed / leading developers

Exposure to residential / high-rise projects

Strong working drawing / GFC expertise

Knowledge of approvals & regulations

Good communication skills

Material/specification selection experience

Cross-functional coordination experience
