SENIOR ARCHITECT - SENIOR ARCHITECT

Roles & Responsibilities:

Translate the customer's business requirements into differentiating solutions based on Java and other opensource technologies

Lead architectural discussions. Develop and implement architecture / solution

Hands on implementation of proposed solution and provide guidance to the implementation teams

Defining the development structure and standards

Designing and architecting solution

Providing input including reviewing the business requirements

Implementing a Continuous Integration / Deployment Pipeline

Providing technical documentation

Pre-Sales support: Participating in RFP, creating PoC/PoV

Be able to present solutions and convince prospects and clients on architectural front

Identify and keep abreast of new technical concepts on Java, Open source software/products

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Enterprise customer level experience with cloud, hybrid infrastructures and adjacent technologies, architecture designs & migrations

Good understanding of cloud design principles, sizing, multi-zone/cluster setup, resiliency and DR design

Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns

10-12 years of experience in Java/Python technologies. Experienced in the design and delivery of enterprise-level Highly Available solutions

5-6 years of architectural experience with extensive AWS experience

Hands-on experience in deploying applications to production on AWS (Infrastructure/services)

Expertise on Microservices framework with hands-on implementation

Expertise in DB fundamentals, both SQL and noSQL DB

Experience in Non-functional aspects of security, authentication, High Availability, performance and scalability

Exposure to cloud technologies, including CI/CD pipeline setup.

Strong fundamentals and clarity of REST web services. Should have exposure to developing REST services

Exposure to containerization concepts. K8, Docker

Well versed in TDD,BDD methodologies and the enabling tools and technologies - JUnit, TestNG,etc

Exposure to cloud AWS. Must have multiple years of experience in deploying applications on AWS infra. Should have knowledge on networking, policies, security, EKS, etc
