Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Architect / Interior Designer role is based in Chennai. The position involves leading architectural and interior design projects from concept to completion, including developing design proposals, preparing drawings, and coordinating detailed layouts. The role requires close collaboration with clients, consultants, and contractors, as well as overseeing project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Daily tasks include reviewing design documentation, ensuring design integrity during execution, and mentoring junior team members. The Senior Architect / Interior Designer will contribute to design reviews, refine project strategies, and support the firm's commitment to inclusive and innovative spaces.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills, with experience in concept development, space planning, and detailing.
• Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and managing timelines and budgets.
• Candidates should possess Integration skills related to aligning architectural and interior design elements with structural, MEP, and other building systems.
• Candidates should possess Software Development–adjacent skills such as familiarity with design and collaboration software tools and the ability to integrate digital workflows into the design process.
• Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design and relevant registration or licensure (where applicable).
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and strong visualization skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading built projects, preferably in culturally responsive or community-focused environments.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse, collaborative teams.
