About IIHS Campus Development
The IIHS Campus is located on a 54-acre site at Kengeri, Bengaluru, located between a 525 acre reserve forest and an 800-year old 150-acre lake. Its digitally augmented buildings and facilities will enable interdisciplinary teaching-learning, research and practice, and demonstrate the best examples of Indian design and crafts. The Campus will provide faculty, students and researchers with the opportunity to immerse themselves in and innovate around India's core urban challenges.
The Campus features a robust integrated digital infrastructure and services network supported by various sensors and IoT devices to enable cost-effective monitoring of high performance and sustainability. The IIHS Campus Development team focuses on design, procurement, execution, and documentation of the development of the IIHS Kengeri Campus. Job Description
IIHS is looking to hire an architect with 10 to 12 years of work experience. The work includes support in design development, review of drawings, site supervision, and coordination with various stakeholders involved in the project for design development and site execution.
This position will be part of the Campus Development team at IIHS based at Kengeri, Bengaluru. The responsibilities for this role will involve supporting design delivery and execution of campus development activities, including, but not restricted to site planning, architectural design, review of drawings, and site supervision. The work will also involve direct architectural intervention as per regular business practices, as well as research, publications, prototyping, and creation of policies, standards, and guidelines.
