Senior Applied AI Engineer

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or a closely related engineering role.
• Current or previous experience at a product-based company.
• Strong hands-on experience building and shipping AI/ML systems.
• Experience building AI agents, agentic workflows, tool-calling systems, or similar applications.
• Strong understanding of LLMs and their practical application in production.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
• Ability to take an ambiguous problem statement and go deep to find and implement a solution.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, evaluation, prompt engineering, or model integration.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Candidates with only surface-level exposure to GenAI/LLMs/Agents will not be a good fit.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows for real-world use cases.
• Own AI problem statements end-to-end, from understanding the problem to production deployment.
• Design reliable systems involving LLMs, tools, retrieval, memory, and structured workflows.
• Experiment with different approaches and identify what works best for the problem.
• Improve accuracy, reliability, latency, and cost of AI systems.
• Build evaluation and monitoring mechanisms for AI applications.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate real-world problems into AI solutions.
• Debug failures and continuously improve production AI systems.
