About the Role:
The Senior Applications Developer provides input and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of applications software, etc.) for business critical UPS.com Track Visibility applications. Candidate must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. He/She collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies and must have strong verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications while adhering to the SAFe Agile methodology using Azure DevOps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot based Restful Web Services.
- Design and implement microservices-based solutions for high scalability and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain OCP4 and GCP hosted solutions, ensuring high availability and security.
- Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies including PI planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline setup, version control, and automated deployments.
- Perform code reviews, ensure coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across frontend and backend systems.
