Description for Internal Candidates

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, implement, support, test and develop Oracle E-Business Suite solutions, primarily across Distribution modules.
  • Gather, validate, and translate business requirements into effective functional solutions.
  • Lead business process mapping, gap analysis, solution design, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business users, provide functional expertise, and prepare functional/technical specifications.
  • Develop project deliverables including gap analysis documents, test scripts, training materials, and support documentation.
  • Manage project activities, production support, issue resolution, and service requests across varying priorities.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and ensure timely incident resolution.
  • Work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 10 yr. experience in Oracle E-Business Suite R12
  • Bachelor's / master's degree in computer science engineering/IT

Skills

  • A proven functional professional with 10+ years of Oracle Apps experience, with at least three full lifecycle Oracle E-Business Suite R12 implementation/support projects in one or more Distribution Modules such as OM, PO, INV, Shipping, Pricing, WMS, and AME.
  • Analyze and drive business requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, test case preparation, and process improvements, and provide Oracle EBS functional solutions.
  • Support end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
  • Design scalable solutions for complex business requirements, lead configuration activities, and ensure adherence to solution architecture standards.
  • Work closely with technical teams on customizations, interfaces, conversions, reports, and workflow enhancements. Conduct solution reviews and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Perform impact analysis for new business requirements and system changes.
  • Support integrations with third-party applications and legacy systems.
  • Provide production support and resolve functional issues within agreed SLA timelines.
  • Should possess strong functional knowledge along with a good understanding of technical concepts. Exposure to multi-organization and multi-ledger (Set of Books) environments is preferred.
  • Exposure to data conversions from legacy systems and integrations with third-party applications is highly desirable.
  • Good to have Basic PL-SQL knowledge for data extraction, analysis, and issue investigations. Familiarity with Oracle Workflow, AME, and approval process configurations.
  • Experience in additional distribution modules such as iSupplier, iProcurement, and EDI will be an added advantage.

Working Conditions

  • The work mode of Finisar India is Hybrid i.e. 3 days at office.
