Position Summary

We are looking for an ERP admin to join our PeopleSoft and Oracle database platform team. Candidate should possess technical knowledge on PeopleSoft ERP systems (HCM/FSCM) and familiarity with IT change management practice. You will be facilitating requests from PeopleSoft developer and SME teams, so excellent written and verbal communication skill is a must.

This is a working from remote position. However, once a quarter employee should travel into Chandigarh office upon manager's request for team building and other activities. The duration of such will be from one to five days. Also, ability to work in shifts to provide 24x7 support for the Enterprise applications.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Patching of PeopleSoft Components like PeopleTools, Oracle Tuxedo and Weblogic.
• Build, configure, debug and support PeopleSoft applications in a multi-instance hosting environment.
• Ad-hoc refreshing of non-production environment from the production PeopleSoft instance.
• Troubleshooting skill to isolate technical problems in the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) including, tuxedo, application servers, process schedulers on both UNIX and NT and Web logic configuration.
• Microfocus Visual Cobol compiler installation, license renewal and cobol compilation.
• Assist with planning for growth and changes (capacity planning).
• Follow IT change management process and utilize PHIRE application for PeopleSoft object migrations.
• PeopleSoft Elastic Search setup and administration.
• PeopleSoft application performance tuning and metrics measurement from database, OS, network.

Qualifications

• In depth knowledge of servers running PeopleTools 8.5x, Oracle 12c or 19c. System Administration skills in both enterprise Unix and Microsoft Windows.
• Have in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture security components.
• Work in multiple versions of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools preferably 9.2 (Financials, HRMS and Portal).
• Patching of PeopleSoft Components like PeopleTools, Oracle Tuxedo and Weblogic.
• Configuring Integration Broker, defining gateway, creating and configuring nodes and Troubleshooting IB issues.
• Full Time Graduates / Postgraduates in: BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MSc / MCA / MCM / MS
• Able to speak and write English with proficiencies and experience speaking with international customers is a plus.
• Highly motivated and energetic individual
• Willingness and ability to operate in several different technical disciplines is a must.
• Willing to work in Shifts.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS

• Ability to research and troubleshoot independently.
• Work in a team environment with several other members of the PeopleSoft DBA team.
• 5+ yrs. Experience in PeopleSoft Administration and development.
