Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Application Support Engineer to ensure the stability and efficiency of our mission-critical applications. You will manage complex database operations, troubleshoot high-level server issues, and maintain our CI/CD pipelines. This role is perfect for a problem-solver who enjoys digging into logs and SQL to find the needle in the haystack.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 support for enterprise applications hosted on Windows environments.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot complex Stored Procedures (SPs) and perform deep-dive database analysis.
  • Manage incident and service requests using Jira/JSM, ensuring strict adherence to SLAs.
  • Monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless application deployments.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) by interpreting application logs and XML data structures.
  • Collaborate with Dev and DevOps teams to provide feedback on application stability and performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience : 4 to 5 years in Application Support with a stable career history (max 2 job changes).
  • Database : Expert-level SQL skills; ability to read, write, and optimize complex Stored Procedures.
  • Technical Stack : Proficient with Windows Server administration and XML data formats.
  • Tools : 3+ years of hands-on experience with Jira or Jira Service Management (JSM).
  • DevOps : Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar).
  • Soft Skills : Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
