Key Responsibilities:

• System Management: Proactive management of daily tasks for systems and services.
• Compliance: Overseeing patching and upgrades to meet standards like PCI DSS, ISO27001, and Cyber Essentials+.
• Support: Managing third-line support and acting as a key escalation point.
• Performance: Monitoring and managing the capacity and performance of team-owned assets.
• Documentation: Ensuring creation and maintenance of support knowledge articles and wikis.
• Automation: Managing the development of scripts to automate manual operational tasks.
• Business Continuity: Overseeing the testing and invocation of disaster recovery plans.
• Team Leadership: Managing the team's training, performance, and the transition of new services into operations.
