Support the development of the Flow Controls business in the key industries in Europe through the active involvement in analyzing, setting successful growth plans and executing the strategy.
Gain expertise in major applications and support the Sales tender process selecting the most suitable and optimized technical solutions for Projects and KOB3 opportunities.
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1.1 Understand Market Dynamics & requirements
Work with sales countries, Project pursuit team, KOB3 Directors, etc. to identify business opportunities, leveraging also the SDSE Helpdesk requests.
Understand and communicate to the organization the requirements from the product, price and lead time point of view, to enter the market.
Identify the technical requirements to comply with a certain application, industry segment or licensor and share with the Product BU, Factory and rest of the organization.
Communicate the growth market segments and identify potential market space and FCV participation
Provide guidance to management on win/loss reasons, gaps and elaborate possible solutions.
1.2 Technical Expertise
Develop and implement value add proposal tools to sell Engineered Solutions and differentiate from competition. Know the strengths and weaknesses of competitor products.
Assist country sales teams with positioning of strategic technical proposals
Take part in Customer calls/meetings to defend or align the technical solutions
Work with Product Engineering to validate & optimize our technical valve solutions
Coordinate with team members to build validated, market competitive, focused proposals for the Engineered Solutions scope.
Improve quotation to order hit rate through market/application focused proposals and support
Work seamlessly between group resources to ensure responsive & quality support to the sales organization
Respond in a timely way to the SDSE Helpdesk tickets
Update the tools to create engineered solutions
Support the company strategic priorities (Oxygen approval, Sustainability programs, etc.)
1.3 Develop Business
Understand customer processes & business dynamics, identify their pain points and create solution messages to translate our product offering into customer solutions
Act as a consultant and work with sales offices to develop industry plans and actions, in order to maintain & develop relationships with existing customers (internal and external)
1.4 Licensors
Lead the technical relationship with Licensors
Drive the process to have FCV in the AVL and in a preferential position
Work with product BU to have a product and documentation and testing ready for Licensors
Follow up major investment driven by Licensors and play a key role in supplier selection
1.5 Others
Serve as a primary contact through the SDSE ticketing system for needs related to technical aspects of sales pursuits for all KOB's.
Partner with Engineering to develop and present innovative technical solutions
Support Marketing Communication (eg case history to be released in trade magazines)
Partner with the Key Account and Industry Specialists of the other FCV BUs to develop dedicated solutions/papers for sub-Industry and/or Special applications
Cooperate with the Product BU for the improvement of quoting systems and sizing tools
Apply and promote Corporate's Values and Policies to ensure to keep the standards of their group, including all issues related to the Trade Compliance, Terms & Conditions, ethics and, in General, all company policies and procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 6 years experience in a sales role with preference of Outside Sales, Inside Sales, Industry Expert
Proven track record of successes in developing technically an account at country or WA level
Master Degree in Science/Technical Diploma or equivalent culture
Experience in Technical Sales role on Control Valves/Steam Conditioning
Experience in working in an International and Complex Environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to create relationships at all levels
English fluent writing/speech
Experience in using Microsoft tools and/or ERP/CRM systems as well as Social Networks
