JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hands on experience with analysis, designing and developing solutions on BPM technologies.
- Proficiency of working on various Appian components i.e., SAIL, Process Model, Records, Reports, Rules, Security, Integrations and Web APIs.
- Should have worked on agile based projects.
- Participate in workshops/discussions with business and concerned IT stakeholders for Appian product awareness.
- Configure, debug, unit, systems, integration test and document new flow but not limited to forms, reports, underlying logic, and interface components on development as assigned.
- Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs. Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation.
- Analyse, debug, and revise existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary after seeking appropriate approvals.
- Assist, quality assurance team, system engineers, network engineers and other staff in ways to ensure data integrity, consistency, security, and privacy.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters or bachelor's in engineering in IT/ Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Systems.
- 5+ years of experience with Appian 20.x, 19.x and above
- Appian Analyst and Appian Designer Level certified L3 certification is an added advantage
- Experience with SAIL scripting.
- Experience with Task, Reports and Records
- Database experience SQL Server. Ability to write, understand, manage, and enhance Stored procedures
- Should have done multiple integrations with external systems
- Should understand the differences between REST, SOAP, and the basic design principles in integrating to Web Services.
- Ability to debug issues in Interfaces and Process Models
- Knowledge of Sites, complex SAIL Forms
- Knowledge of at least one major programming language.
- Problem Solver and ability to estimate and size Appian business requirements.
- Quick learner
Good To Have:
- Knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or any other agile framework.
- MariaDB, Microservices, Docker based development/deployments, Exposure to CI/CD, Unix Internals and Hadoop.
- Ability to lead a team of distributed engineers
